MSF-OCA is looking for a
COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE ASSISTANT for its office in Islamabad. MSF offers a package of benefits (salary, leaves, medical coverage, training and career) and the opportunity to work for an internationally renowned humanitarian organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyse contextual developments in the project sites, around the country & region.
• To provide analysis and advice to the Country Representative (CR) on security incidents, contextual developments and
• Security management.
• Establish and maintain network with relevant interlocutors as delegated by the CR.
• Conduct context and cultural briefings for in-coming expatriates
• Assist in risk assessment and the development of mission and project security plans.
• Develop and maintain appropriate contact to all relevant authorities Requirements for the position:
• Minimum Bachelor degree in social science, politics or related field.
• 3 years previous experience in a supervisory position or equivalent in humanitarian aid, preferably with MSF & high level
• Of knowledge of culture and customs of Pakistan, particularly Pashtu & Baloch.
• Proficient in English and Urdu, desirable: command of any other local language of Baluchistan.
• Strong communication skills, problem solving skills & excellent analytical skills and diplomatic nature
